Submission Guidelines:

Genres:

Before submitting, consider the following keywords which should describe your story: Adult oriented, intellectual, riveting, and engaging. The story should also reward the reader at the end.

First off, we are a professional publication, therefore we require your work to appear in Standard Manuscript Format. Please Google details on this format. We also require the following formatting:

• 12pt Font
• Times New Roman or Arial styles
• Double spaced
• Spell check

We can't express enough that your work must be free of spelling errors! If you are using unique language or names, then tell us that in your email introduction.

Subect line should contain: Submission Novel/Novella/Short Story
The body of your email should contain the following:

• 1 paragraph introducing your work
• Approximate word count
• Title of your work
• 1 paragraph with your Bio in 3rd person
• Format: Word doc or rtf only

Short Stories:

What we want:  Quality original short story literature for our semi-annual Scifi/Horror anthology.
What we expect:
2000 to 15000 word short stories
(The Short Story Anthology does not offer fee-based services. Publication is free for the author.)
Rights: 1st North American Serial Rights & All Electronic Rights with reprints  After this the author is free to submit their works to other publications. UnEarthed Press still retains the rights to print that particular anthology and story edition.

If we accept your work, we will respond and work further with you to get your work published.

Author payments as of August 1st 2010: 1 contributor copy and a huge discount on further copies. (Royalties only available for Anthology 1 and 2 submissions and per contract with us.)

Artists Wanted!!!!

Do you have a chilling drawing you can share, or perhaps a gun-toting vixen painted? UnEarthed Press is looking for good artists to share their artwork for our book covers.

What do you get?

·         The featured artist gets a Royalty cut based off the net sales for that book.

·         An artist bio will be featured on our website for reference.

·         UnEarthed Press has rights to use that artwork in print and ebook formats and for any promotional material required.

·         The artist retains the rights to their work.

Art Submissions:

Format: .jpg and less than 5mb in size.

Include a brief description of your piece.

We will respond to your submission within 30 days if we would like to use the art for our featured anthology or novel.

What we don't want:

• Reprints
• RPG fiction
• Too many dream sequences
• Nothing involving child abuse
• No rape
• Keep foul language to a minimum
